Zusammenfassung:Derivs. of hydroxy-alkyl-homo-piperazine and theophylline, e.g. 1,4-bis(gamma-(7-theophyllinyl)- -beta-hydroxypropyl)- homopiperazine, 1,4-bis(gamma-(7-theophyllinyl) -beta-hydroxy-propyl)- 6-hydroxy-homopiperazines and 1,4-bio-(gamma-(7-theophyllinyl) -beta-hydroxy-propyl) -6-keto-homo-piperazine, are obtd. from 1,4-bis- (gamma-chloro-beta- hydroxypropyl)-6-x- homopiperazine - where x is -CH2-CHOH, =C=O, gp-, and theophylline in the presence of Na-methoxide or by treating 1,2-bis-(gamma-(7-theophyllinyl beta-hydroxy propylamino-) ethane with ClCH2-X-CH2Cl where x is -CH2, -CHOH, =C=O; in methanol and in presence of triethylamine.
