STEP, DISK TYPE CUTTER

This invention complements the solution described in patent RO nr. 101917 and refers to a step disk type cutter, armed with continuous sharpening hard plates, intended for processing the step channels and in cogging high modulus toothing. The cutter is equipped with oscillating supporting parts (3) for positioning end cutting plates (2), with end clamping keys (4), with a straight side (a), inclined by an angle (α) as compared to the clamping direction (C-C) and, respectively, one straight side (b) inclined as compared to the C-C direction by an angle (γ), in which the orientation of the side cutting plates (6) in the cutting position is insured by cylindrical pins (10), positioned in semi-circular sockets (e, f) in the carter of the tool (1) and, respectively, by side supporting parts (7).
