Zusammenfassung:	2-cyano-2-alkoxy-imino-acetamides of general formula(I) (where Alk.=alkyl gp. (methyl, ethyl etc.)) are prepd. by dissolving at 35-60 deg. C an adduct of cyanacetamidozime with its own sodium (potassium) salt in equimolar quantities of a 9% aq. alkaline soln. so that the pH should be 9-11. The soln. is alkylated by di:alkyl-sulphates or either benzene- or toluene-alkyl-sulphonates pH is maintained by sijultaneous addn. of the aq. alkaline soln. at 9-7. Following stabilisation at pH 5-7, the mixt. is cooled and filtered. Yield: 80-90.
