To increase performance, 40-45% NaOH, and siliceous powder waste (SiO2 content 91-95%) from ferrosilicon prodn. gas drying and cleaning, are dissolved and continuously stirring in water for 2.5-3 hours at 90-99 deg. C. The raw soln. is settled, filtered or centrifuged, to 1.36-1.70 g/cm3 and SiO2 28.08, Na2O 10.80, Fe2O3 0.040-0.095, CaO 0.020-0.036, and CaCl 0.08-0.20 wt.% contents.
