PESTICIDE ELECTROSTATIC PULVERISATION EQUIPMENT

The invention consists of an equipment for the electrostatic pulverization of pesticides destined to the fitosanitary treatment of vineyards, orchards etc., as well as to the pest control and decontamination of buildings used for stock raising.The equipment for the electrostatic pulverization of pesticides is composed of a pesticide tank linked to some electrostatic atomizers through a pipe system, a fan and a high voltage source, including one or more centrifugal electrostatic atomizers, placed in radially steerable tubes with walls made of dielectric material; within each of them there is a rear ionisation ring equipped with some 25-30 mm long stainless steel rods, orientated in the direction of evacuation of the pesticide, making an angle of 40-50 degrees with the inner surface of the wall of the discharge chamber, and a front ionisation ring identical to the rear ionisation ring but placed between the centrifugal electrostatic atomizers and a fan which must assure a speed of the air of about 60 km/h in order to transport the pesticide drops to the target.
