Zusammenfassung:	The present patent application relates to human monoclonal antibodies against rabies viruses and to the use thereof in diagnosis, prophylaxis and therapy. Antibodies against the epitope, which is defined by human monoclonal antibody TW-1, on the 67 kD glycoprotein of the virus coat provide better protection against development of rabies after infection has taken place than do commercial human immunoglobulin preparations.
