Zusammenfassung:	A general purpose household adhesive comprises an essentially clear and at least largely solvent-free polyurethane aqueous dispersion based on: a mixture of polyols composed wholly or partly of polytetrahydrofurane; a bi- or multi-functional isocyanate component having an OH:NCO ratio with respect to the mixture of polyols between 1:0.5 and 1:2.0, preferably between 1:1.0 and 1:1.7 and in particular between 1:1.05 and 1:1.6; a functional component capable of forming salts in an aqueous solution; and, if desired, a chain-lengthening agent.
