Zusammenfassung:A process for producing a two colour composite thermoplastic film(14) involves extruding a carrier film(10) with a rebate(16) in a one colour and an upper layer(12) of a different colour which is fed into the rebate. Both layers(10,12) are pressed together while warm and the resulting upper surface is smoothed to give a two-coloured film with a flush surface. Process equipment includes a first extruder(20) with a die(22) for forming the carrier film(10) with rebate(16) and a polishing stack(32) for joining the carrier film (10) and upper layer(12). A two-coloured composite film(14) made by the process is claimed.
