COFFEE BEAN CONTAINER, COFFEE BREWING APPARATUS COMPRISING SAME AND COFFEE BREWING METHOD

The present invention relates to a detachable coffee bean container (100) for storing, holding and supplying coffee beans, said container (100) comprising - a housing (110) having at least one outer wall (120) defining an inner volume (130) capable of storing and holding coffee beans, said housing (110) having at least one bottom side opening (140) defining a coffee bean outlet (141) capable of supplying coffee beans stored and held within the inner volume (130) to the outside of the housing (110); - a closure (160) exterior to said bottom side opening (140) of said housing (110) and capable of closing said bottom side opening (140) against, or transiently opening it for, a passage of coffee beans to the outside of the housing (110); - a passageway (170) capable of guiding coffee beans released from the housing (110) through the closure (160) to the outside of the housing (110); and - an adapter (180) capable of matching the passageway (170) of the coffee bean container (100) to the coffee bean inlet (220) of a conventional coffee brewing apparatus (200) for supplying a predeterminable amount of coffee beans to said apparatus (200). The invention also relates to a coffee brewing apparatus comprising the detachable coffee bean container (100) of the invention, and to a coffee brewing method wherein the detachable coffee bean container (100) if the invention is used.
