ACIDIFIED NUTRITIONAL FORMULA

A nutritional formula having a pH in the liquid state in the range from 4.8 to 5.2, which formula comprises, on a dry matter basis, lactic acid in an amount of not more than 2.0% and at least 0.5% of a salt of lactic acid.
