PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR BICARBONATO DE SÓDIO A PARTIR DE UMA CORRENTE (A) CONTENDO CARBONATO DE SÓDIO, UMA PARTE DA QUAL É PRODUZIDA POR UM CRISTALIZADOR DE CARBONATO DE SÓDIO, A REFERIDA CORRENTE (A) CONTENDO CARBONATO DE SÓDIO COMPREENDENDO, PELO MENOS, 2% EM PESO DE CLORETO DE SÓDIO E/OU SULFATO DE SÓDIO, QUE COMPREENDE OS SEGUINTES PASSOS: A) MISTURAR A CORRENTE (A) CONTENDO CARBONATO DE SÓDIO COM PARTE DE UMA CORRENTE (B) PARA PRODUZIR UMA CORRENTE (C), B) BICARBONATAR A CORRENTE (C) COM UM GÁS (D) COMPREENDENDO CO2 NUM DISPOSITIVO (1) DE CARBONATAÇÃO PARA PRODUZIR UMA SUSPENSÃO (E) AQUOSA COMPREENDENDO CRISTAIS (F), OS REFERIDOS CRISTAIS (F) COMPREENDENDO CRISTAIS DE BICARBONATO DE SÓDIO, C) SEPARAR A SUSPENSÃO (E) AQUOSA DE MODO A OBTER CRISTAIS (F) COMPREENDENDO CRISTAIS DE BICARBONATO DE SÓDIO, POR UM LADO, E UMA ÁGUA-MÃE (G) AQUOSA, POR OUTRO COM UM DISPOSITIVO (2) DE SEPARAÇÃO, D) DESBICARBONATAR PARCIALMENTE A ÁGUA-MÃE (G) AQUOSA E REMOVER PARTE DA ÁGUA PARA OBTER A CORRENTE (B) E UM GÁS (H) OPCIONAL NUM DISPOSITIVO (3) DE DESBICARBONATAÇÃO, E) RECICLAR, PELO MENOS, PARTE DA CORRENTE (B) PARA O PASSO A), F) REMOVER O RESTANTE (I) DA CORRENTE (B) OU PARTE (J) DA ÁGUA-MÃE (G) AQUOSA PARA SER ADICIONALMENTE PROCESSADA. Producing sodium bicarbonate from a sodium carbonate-containing first stream, comprises: (a) mixing the sodium carbonate-containing first stream with at least second stream portion for producing a flow; (b) bicarbonizing the flow with gas comprising carbon dioxide for preparing an aqueous suspension containing crystals; (c) separating aqueous suspension to obtain crystals; (d) partially decarbonizing the aqueous mother liquor and removing a portion of water; (e) recycling at least second stream portion from the step (a); and (f) removing the remaining flow or a part of aqueous mother liquor. Producing sodium bicarbonate from a sodium carbonate-containing first stream, where a sodium carbonate-containing first stream portion is generated from a sodium crystallizer, and the sodium carbonate-containing first stream comprises at least 2 wt.%, preferably at least 4 wt.% of sodium chloride and/or sodium sulfate, comprises: (a) mixing the sodium carbonate-containing stream with at least second stream portion for producing a flow; (b) bicarbonizing the flow with a gas comprising carbon dioxide for preparing an aqueous suspension containing crystals, where the crystals include sodium bicarbonate crystals; (c) separating the aqueous suspension
