Zusammenfassung: | A cathode base plate of aluminum is provided, having an insertion of a dielectric material at an upper edge, in the vicinity of the line of solution of the electrolytic cell, where the cathode is placed inside this cell for the purpose of electro-deposition of zinc. The insertion has a planar surface which is raised or projected onto the surface of the aluminum base plate by a distance of 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm on both sides of the base plate. In this way, when the stripping knife reaches the dielectric insertion during the stripping of the layers of electrically deposited zinc and then penetrates between the layers of zinc and aluminum base plate, it will not strike or damage the perpendicular interface between the dielectric insertion and the aluminum base plate. This will prevent rapid deterioration of the base plate and significantly improve its lifetime. |
