Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses new non ionic iodized agents for X-ray contrasting, having a dimer structure and a general formula (I) wherein the union bridge is glycin or glycin N-substituted, wherein R1 is a straight or branched polyhydroxyalkyl residue with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 is hydrogen, methyl or a straight polyhydroxyalkyl residue with 2 or 3 carbon atoms, R3 and R8, similar or different, are hydrogen, methyl or 2-hydroxy ethyl, R4 is a straight or branched polyhydroxyalkyl residue with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, R5 is methyl, hydroxymethyl or metoxymethyl, and R6 and R7, similar or different are hydrogen, methyl, 2-hydroxyethyl or 2,3-dihydroxypropyl, R2 and R5 may form together a group of the type (a) wherein n is from 0 to 3. The invention also discloses methods for obtaining products of formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable preparations which contain said products.
