Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to an automatic air coupling for a rail vehicle, in particular in the form of a goods wagon, having a mouth piece for the coupling of the air coupling to a mating air coupling; having a compressed-air connector for the connection of the air coupling to a rail vehicle compressed-air system; having a flow channel which connects the mouth piece in compressed-air-conducting fashion to the compressed-air connector; having a valve which is arranged in the flow channel and which has a valve body and a valve seat, wherein the valve body is movable between an open position, in which it at least substantially or completely opens up the flow channel, and a closed position, in which it shuts off the flow channel in pressure-tight fashion; having a valve drive which acts at least indirectly on the valve body in order to actuate the latter from the open position into the closed position and/or from the closed position into the open position; wherein the valve drive comprises a shaft which is rotatable about an axis of rotation and which is designed for connection to a rail vehicle coupling closure for conjoint rotation or which is formed by a rail vehicle coupling closure and which is equipped with at least one cam which acts at least indirectly on the valve body for the purposes of actuating the latter. The automatic air coupling according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that at least one position sensor is provided in the region of the cam, which at least one position sensor at least indirectly detects a rotational position of the cam. |
