Zusammenfassung:	A method of producing a biofuel for Diesel engines as a fuel as such, or an additive for a petrochemical fuel oil, which consists of reacting a plant and/or animal lipid with a stoichiometric excess of a low molecular mass alkyl ester of a C1-C7 carboxylic acid with a C1-C6 alcohol, as well as in the presence of an appropriate alkyl alcohol and toluenylsulphonic as an acidic catalyst, and the subsequent separation of the precipitated acid fraction containing alcohol and glycerol from the lipid fraction containing fatty acid esters, which is then purified into the final product.
