The washing drum (1) comprises a tubular body wall (10; 110; 210) apt to rotate around a rotational axis (R) and the tubular body wall (10; 110; 210) comprises at least one bulge (20; 20') protruding from the tubular body wall (10; 110; 210) towards the rotational axis (R). The contour of the bulge (20; 20') at the tubular body wall (10; 110; 210) has the shape of a squircle, wherein the reference axis (X) of the squircle-shaped contour is inclined with respect to the rotational axis (R).
