Zusammenfassung:	It relates to a topical pharmaceutical or veterinary composition in the form of a hydrogel comprising: a) a crosslinked polymer of acrylic acidin an amount from 1 to 4% by weight with respect to the total weight of composition; and b) a metal hydroxide selected from sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide in an amount from 6to 15% by weight with respect to the total weight of composition. It also relates to a device comprising it and to the use of the topical composition in the treatment of a viral-induced lesion resulting from a viral infection.
