Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a converter arrangement (A) for connecting wind energy installations (W) to an energy supply system, which is located on a platform (P), wherein a plurality of wind energy installations (W) are connected to one another by means of at least one common connection strand (AS) for connecting the wind energy installations (W) and wherein the electrical energy is transmitted from the platform (P) to the supply system as DC voltage in the high-voltage range. A cost-efficient converter arrangement (A) is achieved by way of transformers (T, T1, T2, T3, T4), which have primary windings and secondary windings, wherein the at least one connection strand (AS) is connected to the primary windings, and at least two converters (1), which are connected in series with identical polarity and for each phase have one phase module (2) having in each case two converter units (3), wherein the converter units (3) are connected in series with identical polarity and the connecting points of which each form a phase connection (P1, P2, P3), which is connected to one of the secondary windings, and wherein the phase modules (2) of a converter (1) form on the output side a respective common DC converter voltage (U1, U2, U3, U4) and the DC converter voltages (U1, U2, U3, U4) together form the DC output voltage (U) of the converter arrangement (A).
