Zusammenfassung:	A hybrid charging system for electric vehicles includes an AC-to-DC converter connectable to an electric AC grid; a transformer interconnected with the AC-to-AC converter with a primary winding; a secondary side AC-to-DC converter interconnected with a secondary winding of the transformer and for providing a DC current for power transfer to an electric vehicle via a cable; a cable connected to the secondary side AC-to-DC converter for providing a DC current for power transfer to an electric vehicle; and a first inductive coil interconnected with the AC-to-AC converter and for inductively coupling to a second inductive coil for power transfer to an electric vehicle via an air gap.
