An Independent claim is also included for apparatus for carrying out the above process, comprising a drying chamber equipped with an atomizer, a drying gas inlet, a waste gas outlet, a solid separation system connected to the outlet and comprising a waste gas discharge pipe optionally including a filter, a unit for solvent recovery from the waste gas, and equipment for recycling and conditioning the waste gas for re-use as drying gas.
