INLET MODULE FOR A SEDIMENTATION SYSTEM

The invention relates to an inlet module (10) for a sedimentation system, comprising a tube piece (11) and at least one inlet device (16), through which a liquid can be introduced into the tube piece (11). In the axial direction, the tube piece (11) has a first closable end (11a), which is arranged at a distance from the inlet device (16) by an offset length (A) in the axial direction, and a second open end (11b) which is designed to connect to another module (20) of the sedimentation system. The offset length (A) is dimensioned such that a circumferential space (19) is formed between the inlet device (16) and the closable axial end (11a) of the tube piece (11), wherein the liquid introduced into the inlet module (10) by the inlet device (16) can circulate in the circumferential space before being further conducted in the direction of the open end (11b) of the tube piece (11) of the inlet module (10).
