Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control device (6, 7) for a space ventilation device (2, 3), which serves for ventilating a space (1), wherein the control device (6, 7) is configured such that, in order to decide whether the space ventilation device (2, 3) should effect a ventilation, it is possible to take into account noise pollution (5a, 5b), caused by the ventilation, affecting persons located in the space (1), wherein there is present a device (8) for detecting noise in the surroundings of the space (1) from which air serving for ventilation originates. The invention further relates to a method for ventilating a space (1), wherein in order to decide whether the space ventilation device (2, 3) should effect a ventilation, it is possible to take into account noise pollution (5a, 5b), caused by the ventilation, affecting persons located in the space (1), wherein noise in the surroundings of the space (1) from which air serving for ventilation originates is taken into account.
