Zusammenfassung:A control body (302) for an electronic smoking article comprises an elongated shell (301) with an interior (303), a proximal end (322), and an opposing distal end (314). A coupler (324) having a body end (324a) is provided in engagement with the proximal end of the shell, wherein the coupler (324) has an opposing connector end (324b) configured to releasably engage a cartridge. The control body further comprises an electrical power source (310) and an electronic circuit board (306) positioned within the shell interior (303) between the electrical power source and the coupler; wherein the shell (301) has a central axis therethrough from the proximal end (322) to the distal end (314), and wherein the electronic circuit board (306) is oriented substantially parallel to the central axis of the shell.
