LOCKING CYLINDER

The invention relates to a lock cylinder with a cylinder core mounted rotatably in the lock cylinder housing, and with a locking device which is arranged in the lock cylinder housing and is controllable by an electronic coding of the key, wherein part of the locking device is a locking strip which is displaceable radially in the cylinder core. It is provided here that the locking strip is supported at the rear end on a blocking pin which, in the support position, prevents a movement of the locking strip out of the recess in the lock cylinder housing and therefore a rotation of the cylinder core, but is movable out of the support position thereof for the locking strip by an adjustment element which acts on the locking pin and is part of the electric/electronic locking device.
