Zusammenfassung:A mining machine for extracting seam-type or mass-deposit mineral materials includes a conveyor for carrying away mined material, a machine frame that can be moved along the conveyor and that includes at least one drum, which is equipped with extracting tools, is rotatable about its drum axis and is adjustable in height relative to a machine frame by a swivel arm. The drum axis of the drum is parallel to the direction of travel of the mining machine, and the extracting tools are mounted in groups on tool carriers which are arranged on the circumference of the drum so as to be rotatable about rotation axes disposed transversely in relation to the drum axis.
