Zusammenfassung: | The device for measuring vibrations, particularly seismic ones, incorporating a base assembly (1) and the inert mass (2), which contains measuring arms (4) and a reference interferometer (3) attached to the base assembly (1) and the inert mass (2), so that the reference arm (3) is permanently and indissociably fixed to the base assembly (1) and the measuring arm (4) is attached to the inert mass (2) in such a way that at least a part of the measuring arm (4) is immobilised on the surface of or in the structure of the inert mass. The method of measuring vibrations, especially seismic ones, including the base (1) and the inert mass (2), to which the arms of at least one fibre-optic interferometer are attached, the reference arm (3) of which is permanently and indissociably fixed to the base (1), and the measuring arm (4) is fixed to the inert mass (2) and has at least one frail, movable section and which is placed in the location where vibrations, especially seismic ones, are observed, after which a light beam is introduced through at least one input coupling element, which is distributed in at least one input coupling element (5). |
