Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a method for manufacturing formed article, which can inhibit damage and debonding of a coating layer at preforming and which can improve surface quality of the formed article when preforming a base material of a galvannealed steel sheet and then quenching the preform to produce a formed article. A method for manufacturing formed article comprising: a first step comprising: feeding into a first die a galvannealed steel sheet, as a material, which has a coating layer containing: 8-25 mass % of Fe, and a remnant containing Zn, Al, and impurity; and then preforming the galvannealed steel sheet such that material temperature just before preforming of the first step being within the range of 41-700 degree C, to obtain a preform; a second step of heating the preform at a temperature of A 1 transformation point or more; and a third step of quenching the heated preform from the temperature of A 1 transformation point or more to obtain a formed article.
