In order to simplify assembly, the production of the fitting or the window, fixing elements (34) are disposed n the base of the groove of the profile groove, said elements having a coupling section (44) forming a track guide with a counterdrafting area of the connecting rod. The fitting elements are fixed in the base of the groove, project substantially crosswise from the profile groove and penetrate into or encompass the connecting rods in holes or recesses provided for this purpose.
