Zusammenfassung: | 1. The method of crushing kidney stones consists in focusing two pulsed ultrasound beams in opposite phases on a kidney stone. The beams are generated by at least two separate heads. Unique characteristics: The phase (Δφ) of one of the pulsed ultrasound beams (10) (10') is shifted between 0 degrees and 360 degrees by moving the head (1) and (2), generating the pulsed beam (10) and (10') by the section Δy, between 0 μd λ - i.e. the length of the beam wave. The angle αbetween the pulsed ultrasound beams (10) and (10') is set by rotating at least one of the heads (1) or (2) by an angle between 90 degrees and 180 degrees. 2. The device for crushing kidney stones contains at least two separate heads generating pulsed ultrasound beams. Unique characteristics: The heads (1) and (2) are secured on a goniometer (9) and mounted on a linear micrometric stage (8). |
