Zusammenfassung:	1. The method of producing modified ethyl polyterephthalate with high dyeing capacity consists in carrying out the reaction of dimethylterephthalate or terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol. It is characterised in that a mixture of methyl esters of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids is introduced into the reaction. The mixture consists of: 5-30 percent by mass of dimethyl ester of succinic acid, 35-70 percent by mass of dimethyl ester of glutaric acid and 10-40 percent by mass of dimethyl ester of adipic acid. The amount of the used mixture constitutes 2-50 percent by mass of dimetylterephthalate or terephthalic acid.
