Zusammenfassung:	Method of producing aluminium tannin from waste aluminium sulphate through a change in basicity, characterized in that aluminium sulphate separated out from industrial waste and containing sodium sulphate impurity is mixed with 5-15% by weight of alkalizing agents of carbonate or acetate type and 1-5% by weight of complex-forming agents in the form of aliphatic and aromatic organic acids or their derivatives, preferably salicylic acid or nitrilotriacetic acid, is homogenized and may be dissolved in water, after which the obtained aluminium tannin solution may be dried in a spray dryer.
