Zusammenfassung: | The present utility model is a process of producing Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis, Fosb.) and Carrot (Daucus carrota, L.) cake. Carrot is a rich source of vitamins and minerals. It is processed into several products such as carrot cake. Breadfruit, on the other hand is a tropical tree and generally seasonal and underutilized in the Philippines. The process of breadfruit-carrot cake comprising the steps of washing the carrots, grating the carrots, caramelizing the grated carrots with sugar, preheating the over and greasing the baking pan, mixing together the dry ingredients, set aside, mixing eggs, vegetable oil, breadfruit meat, caramelized carrots and vanilla in another bowl, adding the mixture into the wet mixture and combine well using an electric mixer, pouring the batter into the baking pan, placing the baking pan in the preheated oven andbake for 30 minutes, removing the cake from the oven, let cool and serve. |
