Zusammenfassung:The present utility model discloses the formulation producing mango-flavored seaweed blended beverage. Seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) and mango (Mangifera indica L.) are some of the important commodities in Region VII. Seaweeds contains a complete source of nutrition in varying amounts however is undervalued and underutilized in the region. Mango on the other hand is abundant and grown by almost all smallholder farmers in the region. Mango contains many vital vitamins and minerals. There is a need to explore on utilization methods and other processing techniques to improve the value of incorporating the two that will help in formulating a more nutritious product. Thus, utilizing these commodities into another way of preparation and presentation is a welcome development.
