Zusammenfassung:	The present utility model relates to depurating mussel using lime (calcium oxide). As disclosed, 20-40 g lime is preferably dissolved in 2 liters of water and depuration can be performed within 8 to 16 hours using the following steps: Cleaning of mussel in seawater; placing cleaned mussel in a container with seawater; adding 10-40 g lime per 2 liters of seawater to form a depurating mixture; straining of the depurating mixture every 4 hr; and collecting silt every 4 hr.
