Zusammenfassung:	The present utility model relates to a pyrolytic cookstove that decreases smoke emission through clean burning of feedstocks while producing biochar as soil amendment. A pyrolytic cookstove comprising: an outer chamber; an inner chamber disposed within the outer chamber; a cylinder in the center of the inner chamber with a plurality of holes; an air intake manifold at the bottom of the outer chamber, with the first end of the air intake manifold covering the bottom of the cylinder, and the second end contiguous to an edge of the bottom of the outer chamber; a slidable cover at the second end of the air intake manifold; and a cover mounted on top of the outer and inner chambers with an opening in the center to expose the top of the cylinder.
