Zusammenfassung:	This structure for a license plate mounting section of a saddled vehicle is provided with a support seat (24, 121a, 45) for supporting the rear surface of a license plate (19). A member (16) on which mounting is to be made is provided with a mounting hole (23) into which a shaft (22a, 32a) is inserted. The support seat (24, 121a, 45) is provided around the mounting hole (23). A deformation permitting recess (24, 25, 45) which permits the deflection and deformation of the license plate (19) caused by the pulling in of the shaft (22a, 32a) is provided inside the outer edge of the support seat (24, 121a, 45).
