STAIRFORMS

The invention as developed, represents a solution for a faster and more reliable construction of stair forms; making use of galvanized iron sheet metal deck as permanent formworks with emphasis on reinforcing the staircase and landing steps. The Stairforms main assembly components are metal steel deck composite slabs, including stringers and riser sheets. These components are cold rolled formed and bended metal sheets, fabricated according to the required size and shape. Wire mesh and deformed bars form part of the reinforcement of the stair structure. Welded bars and temperature reinforcements are used to eliminate shrinkage, with metal sheets being welded at certain point of the erection for same purpose as reinforcement. Chair bars consist of deformed bars which are tied and welded to the wire mesh and sheet metal deck composite slabs for permanent connection. This Invention is in compliance with the standard as set by the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP).
