Zusammenfassung:A method and apparatus for invoking a function in an application. The method comprises: obtaining an operation of a user on a user equipment (S101); and when the result of the matching between the obtained operation of the user and a predefined user operation is a preset instruction, invoking a function in an application associated with the preset instruction of the predefined user operation (S102). In the technical solution provided in the method, a predefined user operation is used as a triggering condition for invoking a function in an application; by obtaining an operation of a user, when the obtained operation matches the predefined user operation, a specific function in a specific application can be automatically invoked, thereby avoiding tedious operation steps such as device wakeup and device unlocking, and rapidly invoking the specific function in the specific application.
