Zusammenfassung:The disclosure relates to a universal structural health evaluator and recorder based on a network of sensor nodes detecting the accelerations of the structures. Particularly, a sensor device that determines the accelerations of the structure and has different configurations namely monitoring, remote accessing, diagnosing, and calibrating. The sensor node is corrected using a calibrated technique for alignment and offset based on geometrical analytics. A sensor node in the disclosure is reconfigurable as bridge structural health sensors, or as building structural health sensors, or as bridge vehicle traffic sensors, or as an earthquake recording instruments, or other structural health sensors by programming the embedded threshold levels in the sensor nodes based on the structural models using particular loadings for earthquakes, traffics, static loads, strong winds, and other external causes of vibrations. Also, a system comprising of clusters or networks of sensor nodes that continuously gathers sensor data and compares the measurements against the dynamically updated structural models of the structures. The structural models of the structures recorded in the database are updated based on the real-time historical data. Also, a method where a report is generated comprising of sensor data at predefined critical locations in the structures and the structural health status based on the generated threshold levels. In cases of events, a report is automatically generated comprising of detailed sensor accelerations in higher sampling rate, structural health status based on threshold levels compared with the structural models and with the historical data before, during, and after an event. Moreover, a method where a report is generated comprising of sensor data, structural health status, and recommended actions for repair or maintenance. Knowing the real-time sensor data and its particular location in the structure will greatly help skilled personnel involved in art of structural health monitoring and analysis.
