Preferred active ingredients are 3-n-propyl hexanoic acid; 4-n-propyl-heptanoic acid, 3-n-butyl heptanoic acid, 3-Methyl-butanoic acid, 3-ethyl-pentanoic acid and 5-n-propyl octanoic acid. The composition is preferably in a unit dosage form for rectal or oral administration.
