Zusammenfassung:	The invention is a base structure configured to mount and hold a cantilever umbrella in an upright and stable position. The base structure is configured with an internal frame structure to receive weights that help maintain the umbrella in an upright position when in use. The frame structure includes uprights to help guide and locate the weights. The mount for the umbrella is secured to the underside of the base structure such that the height of the umbrella when in use is not substantially increased.
