Zusammenfassung:Provided is an adhesive having a simple composition and using bark, whereby the ratio of bark is increased and the bark is efficiently utilized, the ratio of phenol resin is suppressed, and the solid content of a paste liquid is reduced. The present invention is an adhesive using bark, including a resol-type phenol resin and a radiata pine bark powder, the adhesive including 30-40 parts by mass of the radiata pine bark powder with respect to a combined total of 100 parts by mass of the radiata pine bark powder and the solid content of the resol-type phenol resin. Alternatively, the present invention is an adhesive using bark, including a resol-type phenol resin and a radiata pine bark powder, the adhesive including 20-50 parts by mass of wheat flour and the radiata pine bark powder with respect to a combined total of 100 parts by mass of the wheat flour, the radiata pine bark powder, and the solid content of the resol-type phenol resin, the mass ratio of the radiata pine bark powder and the wheat flour being 9:1-5:5.
