Heterologous vaccine combinations of one or more rAd26 viral expression vectors (encoding at least one of Env1, GagPol1, and GagPol2 antigens) and an isolated antigenic polypeptide (gp140 trimer), induced strong protective immunity against infections by one or multiple clades of HIV.
