Zusammenfassung:With conventional coils that have a back-and-forth arrangement such that each subsequent coil section is bent to run or extend parallel along the preceding coil section, the outer corners of the platform is warmer than the inner area, and the interior area is thus subject to frost and freezing. In addition, the temperature in the product display area often can be difficult to regulate with existing back-and-forth coils. The invention is directed to a heat exchanger including a non-linear coil. The coil has coil sections that define a sinuous refrigerant path, and the coil has an inlet that is located on an outer periphery of the coil and an outlet that is located inward of the outer periphery. A distance between the coil sections monotonically increases from the outer periphery toward the center.
