Zusammenfassung:A lawn and garden sprayer system (10) having a container (12) and a spray wand (14) fluidly connected to the container (12) is provided. The spray wand includes a wand housing (20) that has a slot (26) formed in one side thereof that is configured to engage a lug (24) formed on one side of the container for purposes of stowing the wand during shipping and when not in use. The sprayer enables improved ease of operation and increased functional efficiency, through the use of a spring (56) extending along a longitudinal axis (x-x) and positioned between a stem (52) and a plunger (54). The spring (56) is compressed when a coupler (42) is attached to the container (12) and biases the plunger (54) out of a sealing relationship with air and fluid passageways.
