Dual oxygen concentrator systems and methods

Described herein are various embodiments of an oxygen concentrator system that includes a first oxygen concentrator apparatus couplable to a second oxygen concentrator apparatus. A first controller of the first oxygen concentrator apparatus controls operation of the first oxygen concentrator apparatus using operating parameters stored in the first controller. During use, the operating parameters of a second controller that controls operation of the second oxygen concentrator apparatus may be altered based on the operating parameters of the first controller when the first oxygen concentrator apparatus is coupled to the second oxygen concentrator apparatus. Such embodiments can be used to provide oxygen enriched gas to the user that is suitable as both a stationary and portable unit. A hybrid portable oxygen concentrator system may be lighter, smaller, and less expensive when compared to many standard stationary units.
