Zusammenfassung:	619848 Disclosed is a system (10) for controlling a plurality of light emitting diode sources (14) to generate a user- selected color show such that a voltage is provided to the system by an alternating current source (13). The system (10) includes a microcontroller (11), an output power trace from the alternating current source (13) to the plurality of light emitting diode sources (14) and a sensing circuit positioned near the output power trace that detects a characteristic of the output power trace. The sensing circuit transmits data to the microcontroller (11) corresponding to the characteristic of the output power trace. The microcontroller (11) controls the plurality of light emitting diode sources (14) and generates the user-selected color show based on the data transmitted by the sensing circuit.
