Zusammenfassung:A method of predicting a subject's responsiveness to an anti-angiogenic therapeutic agent is diclsoed. The method comprises measuring expression levels of one or more biomarkers in a test sample of diseased tissue obtained from the subject to determine a sample expression score. The biomarkers are defined by an expression signature. The sample expression score are then compared to a threshold expression score; and the subject is classified as responsive or non-responsive, based on whether the sample expression score is above or below the threshold expression score. This method can be used to diagnose a subject as having a cancer or being susceptible to developing the cancer response to anti-angiogenic therapeutics or to determine a prognosis of a subject with cancer.
