Zusammenfassung:An electromagnetic generator (100) is disclosed. The generator has stationary coils (112) and magnets (114) where change in magnetic flux across to coils to generate current is caused by a rotating interference drum (106) in the gap between them. The interference drum has a sidewall at least partially positioned inside the gap and has at least one magnetic field permeable zone and at least one magnetic field impermeable zone. The interference drum is moves relative to the at least one coil and to the at least one magnet to alternatively position the at least one magnetic field permeable zone and the at least one magnetic field impermeable zone of the sidewall inside the gap. When the interference drum is moved, magnetic flux is created in the coil, and induces electrical current to flow into the coil. A method of manufacturing the interference drum is also disclosed.
