Center-referenced photoconductor bearing plate and assembly for electro-photographic cartridge

602354 Disclosed is a bearing plate (100) for rotatably supporting a photoconductor drum having a centre shaft. The present bearing plate (100) reduces dimensional variations between electro-photographic components which can result in skew between a media sheet and the photoconductor drum. The bearing plate (100) comprises a body (102); a support arm (108) and an alignment device (132, 134). The body (102) has a first side (104a), second side and an edge surface (104c) between the first (104a) and second sides. A centre hole (106) extends through the body (102) for rotatably receiving an end of the centre shaft and positionally referencing an outer surface of the photoconductor drum to a centre axis (107) of the centre hole (106). The support arm (108) extends from the edge surface (103c) in a non-radial direction having a mounting surface (110) for mounting a roller and a cleaner blade. The roller has a centre shaft positionally referenced to the centre axis (107). The cleaner blade is positionally referenced to the centre axis (107). The alignment device (132, 134) is formed on the mounting surface (110) of the support arm (108) for cooperatively engaging the roller and cleaner blade and aligning the roller and cleaner blade to the centre axis (107).
